A homeowner in Wheaton, Illinois was seeking a natural landscaping company to enhance their property aesthetics while improving the outdoor space for personal enjoyment. On-going, quality maintenance was also very important in selecting the right company. Pizzo was selected due to the vast experience within the natural restoration space, having completed many projects in the local area as a top ecological contractor.
Pizzo took lead on the design, build, and restoration of the private estate including the on-going upkeep and stewardship of the property working alongside another traditional landscaping company.
Natural landscaping, particularly using native plants, helps preserve local biodiversity by providing habitats and food sources for native wildlife such as birds, butterflies, and bees. It can contribute to the overall health of the ecosystem by supporting pollinators and other beneficial insects.
Over time, natural landscaping can be more cost-effective than traditional landscaping. Reduced water usage, lower maintenance requirements, and decreased need for fertilizers and chemicals can lead to long-term savings for homeowners.
The natural landscaping has improved curb appeal, increased property value, and is more attractive to environmentally-conscious buyers for when the time comes for change.
